We had a small gathering of friends over for New Year's Eve. The Kerstings joined us as well as Suzanne and Julia, her foreign exchange student (the rest of the fam was in CA). We just hung out and let the kids watch the ball drop from NY at 10:00 so they wouldn't have to stay up all night. We had sparklers and poppers and they all thought it was awesome!
Then we busted another wish lantern.

They were still a big hit and we didn't start a fire in any trees!
Then we broke up the gingerbread house and let all the kids go to town.
Who doesn't like starting the new year with a sugar rush?
